Dr. Kelvin Brown is a proven entrepreneur, surgeon, author, and public health expert. He has over 21 years of experience in the health care industry. He founded Precision Weight Loss Center (PWLC) in 2008. Over the years, he has also founded the Vital Outreach Foundation that provides health care to those in need. Dr. Brown founded Syncosystem, Inc. which is poised to positively disrupt and impact the health care, public health, and day-to-day business.
From 2008 to 2022, PWLC has experienced exponential growth, directly serving thousands of people who have come from around the United States to Atlanta, Georgia where it is based. Clients represent some of the largest fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Brown was born in Memphis Tennessee and received his medical degree in medicine from the UAB Heersink School of Medicine in 1998 while obtaining a Master of Public Health degree in epidemiology from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health at the same time. Dr. Brown then completed surgery residency at Emory University Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia in 2003, later receiving his certification by the American Board of Surgery. While at Emory University School of Public Health, Dr. Brown continued to address health care disparities by completing his thesis titled, “Sociodemographic Determinants of Chronic Disease Risk Factors Prevalence Among Racial and Ethnic Groups in the United States.” While at the UAB School of Medicine, Dr. Brown distinguished himself as only the second African American to graduate in the top 10 percent of the class in the school’s history.
A proud father of three, Dr. Brown is an established author of two books, dynamic speaker and fitness enthusiast.
